Musk's Racy Meme Praise for Argentina's President Milei
Elon Musk, known for his unconventional social media presence, recently used a risqué meme to express admiration for Argentina's new populist president, Javier Milei. Musk's post on his X social media account featured a not-safe-for-work image of a couple engaged in a sexual act, with the man in the image looking at a laptop displaying Milei's speech from the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Musk's caption, "So hot rn," indicates his enthusiasm for Milei's address, suggesting that the Argentine President's speech was highly stimulating. Milei's remarks at the forum emphasized the need for the Western world to embrace capitalism, warning of the dangers of socialism and its implications for poverty and economic decline.
Milei, a 53-year-old anarcho-capitalist who was elected in November, has drawn comparisons to former U.S. President Donald Trump. During his speech, he criticized collectivist approaches and touted free enterprise capitalism as the solution to hunger and poverty.
Musk, who now owns the platform previously known as Twitter, lauded Milei's speech as an excellent explanation of the factors contributing to a country's prosperity or lack thereof.
Milei's first overseas trip as president to Davos was marked by efforts to reinforce his anti-establishment image, including taking selfies with fellow passengers on a commercial flight to Switzerland. Back in Argentina, he faces the daunting task of addressing the country's severe economic crisis, including implementing an austerity package aimed at controlling hyperinflation, restoring foreign currency reserves, and attracting investment.
