Fauci Had Secret Meeting With The CIA
In a recent revelation, Anthony Fauci, the former chief medical advisor to the White House, is alleged to have made a covert visit to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) headquarters. This visit, according to the Republican chairman of the House coronavirus panel, was aimed at influencing the CIA's investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
The head of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Representative Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), made these claims based on "concerning information" he obtained. This information was detailed in a letter addressed to the Inspector General (IG) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Christi Grimm, which was made public on Tuesday.
Wenstrup's letter suggests that Dr. Fauci, who was then the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, played a role in the CIA's review of the virus's origins. The letter alleges that Dr. Fauci was discreetly escorted into the CIA Headquarters without any official record of his entry, with the intention of influencing the agency's review.
While the source of this information remains undisclosed, the letter does mention Special Agent Brett Rowland, urging the IG to make him available for an interview.
The exact date of Dr. Fauci's alleged visit to the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, remains unspecified in the letter.
Wenstrup emphasized the public's right to know the truth about the virus's origins and questioned whether there was a deliberate effort by health authorities to downplay the lab leak theory for political or security reasons.
In his request, Wenstrup sought various documents and communications between different agencies, particularly those related to Dr. Fauci's movements during the pandemic, especially any potential visits to CIA facilities.
However, the HHS has dismissed these claims, with a spokesperson labeling them as distractions and conspiracy theories put forth by House Republicans.
Earlier this year, reports from the Department of Energy and the FBI suggested the possibility of the virus originating from a lab leak in Wuhan. Despite these claims, Dr. Fauci has consistently expressed skepticism about the lab leak theory, emphasizing the need for concrete data to support such assertions.
The subcommittee's document request, which has a deadline of October 10th, seeks extensive details related to Dr. Fauci's alleged movements and interactions with the CIA and other related agencies during the specified period.
